Hermes and Dionysos

This is one of my earlier drawings that I used both pencil and charcoal.  It was a great challenge drawing the drapery and attempting to give it a sculptured feel.  Hermes was the great messenger of the gods and the baby in Hermes' arm is Dionysos who was the son of Zeus, chief of the Olympians, he was best known as the god of wine.

If you would like to have some of your favorite photos created in a unique stylized portrait or have some ideas that you would like to see come to life, please contact me and we can discuss your project in further detail.
